    SeadooXP 'v' GR1300R

Whats the best ski, topics to consider are:

    1. Handling

    2. Speed

    3 Reliability

I have an XP at the moment and love it for its handling and speed, reliabilty has not been an issue and its a great ski to throw about.

I want something that has the chuckability of the XP but with the ability to tow ringos and carry passengers, in otherwords a good compromise between the two. Any other ski's which fit the bill???

My old 951 XP ran dead even with my buddys 1300gpr.

My major issue with the GPR is that its too boaty in its handling and the seat is much to wide making it uncomfortable for me to ride. When I ride my buddys and I try to jump boat wakes my ankes slam into the side of the hull because its so wide.

    Also:

It has a sluggish hole shot unless you do major mods to it.
It does not spring out of the water easily like the xp does.
It does not handle even close.

As far as im concerned, the only thing better about a gpr is reliability. I dont think they are at all fun to ride comapred to an XP.

In many areas, towing people requires a minimum 3 passenger PWC - driver, spotter, and a place for each person being towed.

Safe practices suggests similar - everyone should be able to ride back on the PWC, if the thing being towed fails.

Are you looking for a 3 seat machine, or 2 seat?

GPR's don't have tow rings either. But you can mod to add them.
