Tried the Dynafly 15/25 today.
Me, Flyboy and my neighbor went riding today, I pulled a 84.3 mph but the rpm's. were 7600. I wonder what it would have done around the 7800 rpms range.
James pulled a 75.3 on his ski, I pulled a 75.7 on his single pipe.
We don't have the flywheel woodruff key from Fernando yet, so Flybooby will probably increase.
Good day of running...James accepted God into his life after riding the new triple pipe ski.

mike the pitch sounds a little steep for the Rpms you were getting. I bet if you had a 14/24 or a 15/24, you would have been knocking on 86's door.
Interesting test... How did it do out of the hole and mid-range?

The acceleration is monsterous..I will be trying Rich's 14/23 next week. If the rpm's were around 7800, I would have been all over 86mph.
More testing the next few weeks on props and sponsons. I have the new Fernando mod on the ski and I believe it works well too.

Is anyone finding more speed with rpm's on the Dynafly? In other words...my top speed the other day was in the 7900 rpm range with the Concorde, the engine "gets on the pipe" at 7750-7800...does your results increase when it "gets on the pipe" below the rpm's or above?
Just wondering where my ceiling might be. I think 86mph will be done this next week...just need to know what this Dynafly prop likes to do.

Mike I have found that hitting the rpm's over 7800 to 7900 was my best speeds with the dyna fly prop to date. I have to agree with Abbott on this your # sounds like it is going to be around the 15-24 pitch range with that prop. It hits harder with that set up does'nt it Mike

Scott, Let me try the 14/23 from WFO first...
Forrest, I think I need to go south to be with you guys so we can wrench these triples to better speeds. We are so close now with the perfect set-up...

The Dynafly hits as hard as a swirl in a Skat pump imo.
Very strong in the mid range.

Mike I agree let's all get together here in fla to get these monsters rolling even faster for bug You keep saying fla boys represent lets do it Lets try to set a date and get together I need about a month to get my triple back from lowell then I am ready

if you guys could all get together and bring everything you own (props & pumps) - that would be great. Lay everything out on the bed of a truck and swap props and pumps for a couple of hours at the loading ramp. That should be interesting especailly since there are so many different ski set-ups out there and so many prop/pump variations as well.

I would love for us all to get together for a ride/test. I don't want to go all the way to south FL and I'm sure y'all don't want to come all the way to West FL, so We should look at a middle point. any sugestions??
