anyone ever have this issue with like an older gp760. my gp's hood would make so much noise when i would land hard and such so i added a rubber seal and then caulked the whole inside of the hood. I wonder how long its going to last.

I to have the same problem on my oi GPR and it to put a small gasket around it. Maybe some of the guru's will chime in and let us know of a better fix...

There is really no fix this except building some kinda rubber seal, you can use that rubber thing that you put on the edge of car doors

well i put a like a rubber door seal on the hood and that got rid of the slapping. but the hood is two pieces and they were like coming apart, so i i just used some clear rubber caulk stuff. Its silent now i just wonder how long its gonig to last.

Mine used to have these rubber bumpers in the hood to keep it from doing that. One fell off while I was washing the ski, and I pulled the other off. I have since lost them both, of course...

if you guys are talking about the slaping noise from the windscreen and the engine lid room, easy fix ace hardware has some rubber washers that you can put in between the two and it will never make another noise.
