    8" lift and 33" tires

Or just put a 4-tec Performance sticker in the rear window.

If it is the 4.0l strait six there should be a ton of performance mods out there(mostly for torque and rock crawling)

that thing has serious potential. lift it, 33's are perfect, skyjacker makes a Rockready suspension kit that would satisfy all terrain. http://www.jeep4x4center.com/cheroke..._lift_kits.htm

thoose rims and tires are awesome just sell the tires and see if a pair of bfg mudders or all-terrains will fit. The choice between muds and allterrain depends on what your gonna be wheelin.

Is there a problem with the way it looks/works right now?

Looks pretty nice as it sits, to my eye.

Almost every equipment change has a downside, usually the dollar cost plus something else. Always good to know what the expected compromises will be, before you make the change.

What would you be willing to reduce?
On road handling, ride quality, tire noise, fuel economy, braking performance...?

THats pretty much what iam thinking. It does have the potential to be a NICE rig for anything. A lil lift would help out currently i think.

definitely a sky-jacker double flex or black diamond 4-5" adjustable with BGF MT/R's. there the best off road tire for on the road. then you just need to add ARB bumpers and roof rack and lights and, and, and ect
heres a couple links...best thing you can do is go to Walmart and pick up a couple mags such as JP, Petersons 4-Wheel & Off-Road ect read up and make sure you get what you want there is a difference in lift kits and tires. ie rock crawling vs mud bogging then there is everything in between. if you want
