Thread: Withdrawals

    Withdrawals

It's been two months since I last went to the lake and I'm having serious withdrawals. So, I'm planning to go back to Havasu mid-November. Does anyone know how the weather conditions are in Havasu usually during that time? Is it too cold, windy, or choppy to ride? Also, are there any recommendations for clean, freshwater riding areas in SoCal? Want to get that last, last ride before winter hits. Thanks!

November is when everything changes to cold. Your looking at 75*f - 68*f,
water temp is about 60-65*f. And the wind just depends on the day, its flat one day, windy the next, hard to tell in havasu.

Clean freshwater in So. Cal.. Only spots are Lake Elsinore & Lake Perris. Guess you could hit up Big Bear, or Silverwood lake.

Why not try some Ocean riding? I've heard thats MUCH funner than flat water lake riding.

Its 75 degrees today on beautiful Lake Martin. The water is like glass right now. 40,000 + acres of freshwater, 743 miles of shoreline, 490 feet deep at full pool... Girl you oughta be here!

Some places in the AZ area. You can catch a good day or ten in Havasu in the winter, if you keep a flexible schedule. It's usually pretty nice in the afternoon, if the wind-gods don't get mad.

We also do some Yuma camping trips during the winter.
