Drilling rocker shaft on 06 and up skis - which drill bit

Man i went thru hell to find a drill bit to drill out the rocker shaft on my 08 engine. I literaly spent 80 bucks on bits and they all failed. I went to my local tool shop and he gave me the idea. Showed my this bit that looks like a masonary bit but it's not. I really did doubt him. Almost wasnt going to try it but i said f it. Went to sears hardware and found the same thing and here it is. 4.15 cents and man it worked awesome .................................................. ...........MY SON

for those that don't know, we drill the rocker shaft oil hole to 3.5 mm when using an after market ECU capable of more RPM's. This allows more oil flow to the head, cam and lifters at higher RPM's.

This is not done on 05 and older engines as the oil jet is in the head and is replaced with this piece for more oil flow

Wouldnt this lower Oil PSI? Or is it made up by the higher rpm's?

No, it just allows a bit more oil to the head.
