    NEW Winter Play Toy

Figure this might help me stay out of the bar some this winter. Who'd think you'd get sore fingers after 20 years...........Since I last played.

Looks good, looks good. Hope you can keep the black top under control, you best wear gloves to keep the finger smudges off of your new baby. Curiously, what amp are you runnin' that out of? If you need any help give me a shout out, but I'm pretty sure you'll get it all figured out.

Also, according to good ol' ph2ocraft, I'm allowed to link you to a site. So if you ever want to talk in depth about your Les Paul, check out the My Les Paul Community, I'm Radicalcon over there as well.

I use to have a Strat, but never really liked the way the neck felt, Always liked the PRS or a Kramer better. I was looking at a nice mid 70's Strat, with a factory Floyd Rose Tem. but it had a gold body,Ugh....So the Les felt nice when I tried it,and I always wanted one. This one had just a few little pick scratches on it.(about 3 months old, owed by a local pro player) (but didn't want to dump a grand)So just a little work with some Turtle Wax Liquid Clay and they all were gone except a slightly deeper one. Wish it was a Gibson, but it is a real sweet player. Thanks for the Site,I'll be checking it out. Just picked up a little Crate Pratice amp for now.Good enough, but not as sweet as my old '66 tube Fender Twin Reverb I use to have. And to think I had 2 of them and sold them for 150.00 each back in '85.
Seems like my left hand doesn't remember nothing anymore. And the finger tips,,,,,,Ouch. It'll just take some time.

Bought the wife one of them a few months back. She thought she wanted to learn how to play one. It will probaly never leave out of the closet.

Get a stand and put it in the TV room. If it's in a closet, you never remember it's there,If it's out in the open, you see it and grab it,and play.

My dad has one of those amps, although I'm not sure of the production year. Anyway, those tubes just sound sooooo sweet. Transistors just can't equal that sound.

    Nice gitfiddle.

You ever in the L.A. area Danno, let me know. A good buddy of mine owns a shop, and you'd think you were in Guitar Heaven. (caps, 'cause its real)
I dont play often these days, so I understand your pain. Did that sound Clintonian? Duh. Have fun!!!
