    Part# for powervalve cover bolts

    Guys anyone know the part number for the powervalve bolts? I've been looking on boats.net and i can't seem to find it. i've gone through most sections and can't see it anywhere, maybe its my eyesight but i'm just not seeing it.

    i overheated my motor a while back and now there rusting, sadly

    Lowes has them in stainless steel, and allen socket head, which is much neater looking and easier to install. Won't rust again either.

    Yes, Lowes does have them. Yes, Stainless does rust! You should see some of the ski's in the Florida area that have come and gone. Taking care of your machine is the most important thing a rider can do at the end of each ride! Yes I have some extra bols too. Thanks Lee

    Yes, stainless can rust, especially cheap grades, however, since the OP didn't mention he operated his boat in saltwater(or lived in Florida), I thought the stainless would be pretty forever, as it is when used here in Indiana water. Lowes just seemed like an easy fix for him.
