    Finaly ordered my shredmaster!

Well I Finaly was able to place an order for the shred. I knoe alot of you swear by this plate and highly recomend it. But the website claim 1+ top speed increase? Im also going to be using the modded stock grate how does it handle chop compared to no shred?

If you ride alot of chop a r&d, worx or solas grate will keep you hooked better. On glass the mod stock is faster.

Any speed increase is nice, but the main beauty of the shredmaster is that when you are in rough water and get some air, you have more than prayers keeping the ski tracking straight when you hit the water again.

I got thrown off twice going wot in rough water. Im getting some cut heads to. I want to see how far i could push it with the stock carbs. I might also get some mikuni race carbs but i realy dont want to waste so much gas.

You list 150psi on your compression if thats true you aleady have all the compression you need. The only thing that might change is the squish angle.

i love my shred, its wonderful plate for a gpr setup for rough.

msg 08GPR and ask him how he feels about his, he is another huge fan.

they are worth the money if you ride rough and open waters.

btw i lost 1mph from my stock plate with the shred but the hookup and tracking was 10x better when combined with an r&d 1200 grate

69 is very possible with modded stock intake grate. The hull is the key to getting those last few mph. You want it smooth.

I agree with sho, 69 can be had. The devil is in the details, take your time fitting the plate. There is alot of speed to be gained or lost in the hull, plate and grate. You may need to go back and work on the tab area of your grate to get the plate to fit correctly.
