Got bored, weighed some stuff tonight.

Below are weights I got from various parts I had sitting around.

Cast 185 pistons now have an advantage in one area! Less rotating mass, High rpm motor build ??

    Piston cast 185hp - - 395g
    Piston cast 155hp - - 404g
    piston forged 215hp - - 433g

    rotax cam wheel - 150g
    oem cam wheel - 207g

    mystery intake valve - 36.89-38.67g
(think I got these from Shibby, lightened)

    2007 intake valves - 42.29 - 42.71g
    2007 exhaust valves - 50.00 - 50.87g
    2005 intake valves - 45.07 - 45.56g
    2005 exhaust valves - 47.00 - 47.50g

    2006 155 spring Small - 14g
    2006 155 spring Large - 34g
    2006 155 retainers - 10g
    Riva Ti Retainers - 4.72g

LOL, was late at night Correction, grams! not Kg . The options on scale were kg & ounces I chose kg haha. Trust me I was paying much more attention to the weights! Measurements were done on digital scales with multiple samples taken, and scale calibrations. A few of the numbers are averages of a group, but some all weighed the EXACT same down to the mg! (as you can see my scale goes to .01g ) The Riva and Rotax Racing retainers for example!

The intake valves are larger and heavier than the exhaust so I think that you have the weight mixed up.

28grams heavier for the 215 piston, but other rotating parts have the same part #..........maybe the s/c drive gear is weighted for this? Gonna have a look see in a bit
