My gpr kicked my _ss in the ocean----ouch

I took my tripple piper out yesterday (with a buddy on his support/tow ski) a few miles into the ocean..
all was going well doing 62-67 treetoping the waves --so sweet--HUGE GRIN
THEN THE _HIT HITS THE FAN
I hit 1 good wave cleared the second wave and tailtap the third and yup, nosed thru the fourth
Nice hard meeting between my chin and stearing cover
Got a nice gash under my chin and i lost 7 of the tops of my lower teeth(considering i only have 9 on the bottom as-is)
no fun spitting teeth out in the ocean...
boats fine --I'm fine ---BUT no eating till MON till the fun trip to the dentist,,,lol i made a lower denture cap with DR.ZOGS SEX WAX to cover all the exposed nerves
    thanks for the rant
i know i have done some dumb things before BUT i still dont consider this 1 of them--just bad timing and luck
i looked into some helmets but none look like they have anything to protect under my chin--oh well atleast a boxing mouth guard ,,next time
    thanks all
    mattman

    Sorry bro,
runny eggs and melted velvetta taste pretty good when you cant use your teeth after a day or two of starving.

ouch dude, i recommend panadine plus for the pain until you get to a docs.

i only ride hard in open water on a ski with stock bars for this reason but 08 is right, screw what people think, wear a helmet.
