2003 GTX Ride Plate in bad condition.

My GTX has some pretty bad corrosion going on.
Today i took my ride plate out looking for any posible coolant leak, I fugured id start from back to front, After taking it out I found it to be pretty corroded. So, i took out all those frecken screws to find that the corrosion had actually went over the gasket, making a posible leak, so what i want to do now is replace the thin piece, and the gasket, I am also going to sand plast the bottom part to clean it all up.

Dose any one have that piece? If noone has it i will have to go to the dealer.
I think I'm beating a dead horse with this ski,

you can just replace that with a used unit from a wrecked ski , or a parted out ski. post up a WTB in the classifieds you can find one cheep.
it is not a big ticket item.

IIRC, the OEM is around $220. Mine has some corrosion from sitting on the end of the Jet Dock. Not all the of the ride plate gets out of the water. And I'm in fresh water... Ron

Well after looking all night and a little of the morning I just desided to call the dealer and order it, It was around $260 and it might be in, in about a week. It kinna sucks being that its 60* out side and I dont think its going to get warm again for a while, oh well, over the winter I'll fix it up and get her running again. I still need to do alot of work.

BigDaddy, I think Jerry sells that OEM part through Riva. Just a thought, You can help this website Grow by supporting the website you enjoy posting and asking for help....Not to mention the 10% discount Jerry offers on the Green Hulk online store. Jerry offers different parts and aftermarket parts too. Feel free to brouse around, Ya never know, what your looking for might be there
