    zapata turbo

the hull has gone through several transformations now. i had the externally driven vortech h-trim in it.which was running decent in the accelleration dpt but top end was not satisfactory even with 24 lbs of boost. i ran into belt and adjustment issues as well as excessive heat problems. i tossed the sc and went turbo and boy i am glad i did. this built was much easier. the ski has become a handful and also extremely dangerous if you don't watch out. i am sure that some of you already heard that i fell off at somewhere in the 80 range and was temporarly paralyzed at both arms but it came back within a minute thank god. i am doing well now and should be able to attend the hydrodrags next month. my friends think that i am crazy. i think they might be right. i asked the shop owner of jet trendz who did the built to try the ski but he flatout refused. i don 't know why???

here are some pics of the custom built turbo, jason's headerpipe, custom intake manifold similar to mavin's set up and some other goodies.

This is my FAVORITE RXP (or RXZ) paint job by FAR, as I said whenever he first showed it last year!

Now the engine compartment impresses me just as much...or MORE!

    BEAUTIFUL!

    Great Job Bari!

My admiration lead to an observation...

I wonder how those 'modded' and combined intake/intercoolers contribute to performance?

Does anyone have any data or experience they want to contribute to VERIFY this mod...?
