Drop in Wheel 2Rude or ET 140R

Hi Guys currently running Rude1, interested in upgrading SC with one of the new drop in wheel options.
Have read the tests comparing the complete 2Rude & ET 68-140 complete Super Chargers which appear to give the ET 68-140 the edge.

However I was looking for the more affordable option being the 2Rude upgrade kit (Wheel & Front Cover) or the ET 140 R drop in Wheel & Spacer, has any one compared/tested these 2 more affordable upgrade options rather then a complete Super Charger comparison as I realize the ET 68-140 has a larger inlet where the ET 140 R doesn't.

    Cheers

Personaly, Id get the 2rude... I saw both chargers before I choose the 2rude... IMO, you will have a product with a good customer satisfaction rating..

Thanks for the advice, still keen to hear from someone that's tested the 2 drop in's.

2rude for performance and customer service and the 2rude impeller is about 10 grams lighter.todd

I appreciate the ET 68-140 is the best performer with its larger inlet housing but its a complete SC, out of my budget & not a drop in so I'm guessing the ET 140 R drop in would have no performance advantage over the 2Rude drop in upgrade kit. Doesn't sound like anyones done any direct comparisons yet on the 2 drop in upgrade options.

Nobody has done any direct comparisons that I know of but I have heard that the ET140r has about 1/2lb boost less than the 68-140 and also that the 2rude has 1/2lb less boost than the 68-140. That being said it sounds like they would be very close in performance.

If you want the beat as far as DROP in and go upgrade then go 2Rude.

BUT the better of the 2Rude and ET68-140 is the ET. Period.

Also customer service is great with both SCers! I get so tired of everone's pissing matches.

Hope this helps. OH and I have tested them ALL!

Cheers thanks for your help, i thought that would be the case, can you buy the ET68-140 front cover seperately so you get the larger inlet?
