The upper part of the rod at the bearing broke and the rod hit the cylinder so hard it broke the ends of all the cylinders off.The engine had 40 hours on it.

was it corrosion? frozen/cracked?
look at the rod hanging out of the case That must have made some mess!
did ya get any shrapnel in the pooper? Wow

Did it give you any warning or did it just blow? What rpm did it go? Guessing it was 7000 range?
