    Edelbrock Gasgacinch .... for VF3 Gaskets?.....Fercho.....??

We've been using this stuff at work and it's pretty good stuff.

Do you think this may possibly be something to use of VF3's and carb gaskets?

I dont unse anything in my gaskets. All I do now is spray some lithium grease on them while laying on a piece of carbdoard to ese on the removal at a later time and install them. Preparation of the mounting surface and proper torque and sequence according to manufacturers instructions is critical IMO.

I use 1211 once only it was a mess. I do not use anything but the gaskets and grease.

    Fercho

I will be nice, your lucky Billy, this is not the war room.

Grease works the best IMO.Very easy on and off and keeps the gaskets in prime condition.

What kind of grease comes in a spray.
    Sounds good.

We use grease in the gasket because it adheres to me mounting surfaces and its a pain to remove.

Here is the description of the material that the gaskets that I send out with the cages are made out of!!

Asbestos-free gasket is bound with nitrile for a tight, leak-free seal

IT IS CRITICAL THAT THE CAGE IS FULLY INSERTED BELLOW THE ALUMINUM LEVEL LINE
