For those with UMI steering check this out

I just installed the Sea Doo OEM X model finger throttle, stainless braided throttle cable and switch housing on my RXP.

No need for a cheesy cable adapter with this setup. The braided cable screws in directly to the throttle assembly. Very solid and rigid setup. The OEM cable will also screw into UMI finger throttle assemblies as well as other brands without the need for the cable adapter.

The start/stop and VTS buttons from older model skis fit perfectly into the X model switch housing without any modifications. Very easy and clean looking install.

I noticed that too when I swaped the X finger throttle to the UMI one.
