    Overheating

I have a 2004 MSX 150 and last year it ran fine one day and the next morning took it out and ran about 10 minutes and then temp light came on and of course it then lost all power, let it sit and checked anti freeze all was good, started again and smae thing anyone know what could be causing this any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will get the same 'temp' warning, when your raw water inlet is clogged.

You need to check the inlet (and impeller) for any blockage!

You should also remove this hose...and make sure that the fitting is not clogged....

I am glad you sent this pic I will check that I checked my impleller could see nothing, and dont take this as a stupid question but can you tell me where the cold water inlet is and I am trying to understand how water gets into the engine? Again I am mechanically inclined but have never worked on this type before. Thanks again
