Is "Shaft Holder" tool really necessary? 2001 GTX DI
I'm getting ready to remove the impeller from a 2001 SeaDoo GTX DI.
The shop manual says I need a "Shaft Holder" tool, p/n 295000082.
I know I'll need the splined impeller removal tool (295000001).
Is the "Shaft Holder" really necessary? Is there a stock tool that I can use to to the job instead. Where can I buy one?

I always clamp the other end of the pump shaft in a big vise.
