    Oil Storage Containers

I was wondering what people use to carry extra oil with them while they are out skiing. I havent been able to find anything that will contain the oil while i ride, jump waves....This is the only down side to premix. It would only need to hold 16 oz.

    Thanks
    Blair

I change the oil in my truck and use the oil bottles to store my 2-stroke oil in. I measure out enough to fill my gas jugs and keep about 6 in my tool box. I do not see why you could not do the same but I would put them in a zip lock and put a towel around them for bracing if you are going ride with them in your bucket.

I use an empty 16ox bottle I use that I take my swimming pool water for testing. (free) at pool supply stores. They come in 32oz and 16oz
Or you can goto your local Walmart or Dollar General and pick up a pastic storage bottle with the flip squeeze spout.

Or, you can use an old gas stabilizer bottle for measuring and keeping on your boat. Most boating supply stores carry cheap stoarge containers. You can even use an old quart oil 2-stroke bottle.

Thanks for the opinions. I have used the gatorade, premix & soda bottles. I have always ended up with the same mess. I will try one of those shampoo style bottles. i was always afraid of the spout coming open. Has anyone made anything to secure a bottle to the bucket or anyplace else?

I like empty 16oz. water bottles. There easy. One 16oz to five gallons of gas gives you 40:1.

Mark the bottles before you open & drink them to get a true 16oz.

I'm looking to make a bottle rack that mounts where the oil tank was. (for the XPL )
