    GPS Help

Ok, so my G/F hinted to me today that she wants a GPS for her car for Xmas.

I dont know much about which one is better or best. I already have 1 gift for her so I am not looking to spend a fortune, but $200 to $300 would be my range.

I would love for it to be voice guided and a touch screen, but not sure if those features are possible in that price range....

Any help anyone can provide would be great....

    Thanks

You can get a Garmin Nuvi for less than $200.
Has touch screen and sexy voice guidance.

Tiny, I hit you up on the other "site" as well, but thought i'd post my thoughts here. For a basic GPS, with voice guidance and touch screen, I'd go with the Garmin Nuvi 200W. If you want the extras such as bluetooth, routing capabilities, text to speech, traffic receiver, etc. get the Garmin Nuvi 760. My fiance has the 200W and loves it and I have the 760. I love the 760 and have turned a few people onto it. The 200W is sufficient if she only wants "directions". Major difference would be the text to speech, which is, on the 200W it will only say "turn right" whereas on the 760, it will say "turn right on Greenhulk Blvd" Any questions, let me know. Both should be in your price range.
    Hope this helps.

I've had a Nuvi for over a year now and love it, works very well.

Can anyone with GPS expierence tell me if that one would have the turn left or turn left on Greenhulk blvd feature? I am not sure by reading the description..

    buy a Garmin.

My wife and oldest daughter have Garmins. My wife has the older C330 I bought 4 years ago and my daughter has the thinner Nuvi from last year when we got her car. Great devices and awesome customer support from the website too.

I know if you are a member of costco that they have some big sales on the Garmins.

They have the Nuvi 250 for $129.99 with coupon
Also have the Nuvi 750 for $199.99

Thanks, i will have to get my roommate to get me into Costco..I have a BJ's membership but havent looked there yet....

    I really like the widescreen..

I was in Circut City today cause all of the stores here are closing and all they had were last years models..They had a 205w for $224, but it was the display and last years..

I went to Best Buys and they had this years 205w and it was cheaper by about $15.00

    Thanks again for everyones help.
