    Problems removing stock airbox???

Hey guys anyone else have dramas getting airbox off or is it just me First I cannot get to the bottom screws on the cover and spoke to Mike who suggested just taking the three clamps off and removing the whole box. Sounded good but my drama is the head for the bolts is facing down Got the rear one loose but I have seriously been trying for about three hours and cannot get to the other two. Any suggestions...............

Remove the whole throttle body assy, then put it on the bench to work on it.

Then just dettach it from the engine and spin it so you can get to the airbox screws, and work on it in the boat

This is how it is done folks ('mates' if you are from that island that is far away)... This is a great lesson. Stop trying to cut corners, you will only waste more time and/or break something. In the end, doing it the right way will save you lots of time.

+1 to this...I also had difficulty removing my stock airbox then decided to remove the TB's and made it a lot easier installing my race filter.
