I'd stick with a good quality "green" premix

Green is what is in it from factory and orange will work too.

I would use less coolant and more distilled water in the mix, it will cool better

I thought that was the purpose of the sacrificial zinc anode in the open loop kit? I dunno, cause I am a fresh water rider.

ALWAYS use at least 20% strength antifreeze.(or put in additive)
I would NOT use the orange Dexcool. IT WILL turn to mud
and screw up your cooling system IF you do not get out
ALL of the green or universal stuff first. Orange Dexcool is fine
if used by itself, Just Don't mix it !!!!
If you want to run a little cooler in the HOT months, then
you could run straight distilled water, Just make sure
you add additive like water weter, or the prestone water
pump lubricant/antirust additive in the little yellow jug.
It's only about 3or4 bucks. The water wetter is $8.
