    ever done this?

    I buddie of mine said it would be best to after you run the antifreeze throught the engine where you flush it to take some more and put some in the waterbox? is this a good idea or should it be ran till its all gone?

    Your engine already has anti freeze in it. (closed loop system)

    When you flush with anti freeze to winterize you are putting anti freeze in the intercooler and exhaust.

    in Green bay, I'd play it safe(er)

    I'd be adding antifreeze where I could, I hear it get's mighty cold up there. Couldn't 't hurt and might help persuade critters not to nest in the exhaust pipe.

    yeah its chilly up here so i did it anyway but i wasnt sure if it made any sense so whatever

    Your waterbox/ic does not get any coolant/antifreeze so the fact you added it there is fine. Figure the intercooler in and out is all freshwater from the pump. The engine cooling is the only thing that is closed loop.

    Not a bad idea, I know my intercooler holds water. So I'm not sure what would happen if it froze.

    Well both of mine are apart anyways so no big deal. Winter work has already begun
