    question about power filter kit

I've just put a power filter kit on my '07 RXP 215 and the question i was wondering about is when i'm out digging the nose in on turns will water get ingested in the power filter? water looks like it would go right through the bag the covers the filter. not that i get a lot of water or any for that matter but i was just wondering because the stock air box has drains in it and the top of the air box had a little cap over it. Let me know what you guys think.

I'm not sure how much water is getting into the hull when you are digging the nose, but you should be fine. The prefilter (bag) should keep a lot of water out BUT it is restrictive.

My recommendation: Ride, don't worry and be happy.

You won't have to worry about water ingestion.

+1. I run the same filter setup on my x and have never ingested water when throwing doughnuts and tight turns.. I ingested a small amount once in really rough surf..

I had the same setup on my X. I never had an issue. I will agree that the pre-filter is restrictive.
