i was wondering what the difference between the fx160 and the 140 like where does the extra 20 horses come from?

there are a few diferences
here are a couple to get you started
140 = 996cc
160 = 1052cc
the 160's also have a light weight hull and a beter pump

i want to know how the 160 gets that extra 20 horses where does it come from?

Its a totally different motor, pump, hull, and of course ecu.
I used to ride a 140 and then HO.
The HO is lighter and feels much lighter.
HO is better on gas, faster, quicker, etc.

probably bored out the cylinders for bigger pistons changed most of the internals & a more efficient pump.
