Polish new impeller?
I'm getting ready to install my new 14/19R impeller on my '07 RXP 215....just wondering if there any benefits or reasons not to give the new impeller a good polish before i install it?

No performance benefit at all.
Your new 14/19R should already be polished though?

once i get her all back together (new prop, SS wear ring) is there anything special i need to do with these new parts before firing it up or driving it at any speed?

Nope..Just make sure the prop is torqued correctly and all your bolts are tight...You should be good to go..

I would coat the wear ring with a little oil to help the seating process and crank it over before putting it in the water.

thats what i was wondering if the wear ring should be lubed with something to seat it.
