FINALLY! another 80+ stock ecu boat
I have been trying to break 80 on my stock ecu for a little while and I got it today. I knew it was coming soon because the last time I was out I ran 78.9mph on a full tank but my day was cut short due to technical difficulties and since I ran that speed @ 8150+ I added 1 more mm to my prop and went for it again today. Here are my speeds:
Half tank of fuel I ran from 80.6-80.9mph.
2 bars of fuel I ran my best of 81.0.
I am still climbing to 8150rpm but not as quick. I think there is still a little more in it.
These speeds were achieved with 77deg air and 75deg water temps in sw florida.
Oh and for those of you that are curious my rad was 96.5% and 1234 ft relative altitude.
This ET 68-140 kicks arse!
I did have a couple people there to witness so hopefully 1 of them will chime in.

Jim i dont want to ruin your thread but how many stock ecu boats have been noted that have broke the 80 mph mark?
It seems like only a hand full or so.
We need to start a sticky of all boats that have gone 80 on stock ecu, anyone agree.
