Need some help planning a trip.
I want to take my wife on a vacation trip real soon. She needs it, I need it. Where have you been that was great for you and your wifey? I cannot spend alot of money..I was thinking of going to the Bahamas or something close.
I am open for suggestions..must'nt be expensive but we need to get away.

We went to Washington D.C last year. It was an inexpensive trip as most everything there to see is free such as all the monuments and all 14 Smithsonian Museums. The subway transportation is very efficient too.
We also rented a car and drove to George Washington's house where he was born and seen other sights such as the Potomac, Pentagon and other stuff.
Not your beach, cruise type vacation, but educational and affordable if you have never been there.
On the other hand, I hear Myrtle Beach is very nice too. We get flyers in the mail from there all the time and they have packages for golfing adn stays. There are also sights to see also. Looks to be a beautiful location.

Thanks guys...the mountain get-away idea is sounding good right now. We need to spend some time alone.

I dont know if you have ever been to Santa Fe, NM...but it is beautiful. Lots of mountains, activities if you want, shopping, culture, or just a quiet get away. Fly into Albuquerque, nice drive through the mountains. Pure heaven.
