    1390 BB

    Hi guys who has gone BB on a gp1300r injected and what are your results and who did your porting,what life span is out out of a BB and can it be riden socially or not

    Hi guys i have spoken to Group K and they say they have never built a 1300 to 1390 injected in house BB ,but can be done and have no results,
    Have spoken to Lowell and said he has no results.
    I am hoping somebody out there who has done there 1300 injected to 1390 BB ,im sure i cant be the only person that is wanting to go bb on a 1300,both gooroo,s have both told me that they use 6 though clearance instead of 4 though with wiseco pistons because they are forged,and said extra clearance means more maintenance ,MUST WARM UP,so anybody out there who has info on this or has gone there please pass some feedback on

    I am working on a BB EFI, but wont have it in and tested for another 3 months.

    It can definately be done !!!

    BB 1390

    I don't have an injected boat or even a 1300 for that matter, but I DO HAVE a BB 800 (927) done by GK and after 10-15minutes of warm-up( idle-1/3-2/3-1/3-idle each for 3-5mins). I can go out and flog it hard without any problems. I sometimes do the first 5minutes on the trailer backed into the water as I get the wife's ski and kids ready. With a proper warm-up I haven't experienced any problems. I don't think being injected vs. carbed would make any difference as long as they're both warmed-up properly. It would be nice to hear from some guys with 1300's that have done the conversion though.....

    WFO who is doing your porting,also will the efi controller deliver enough fuel

    The EFI has some nice control over carbs!!! And you can adjust it while you're out there floating... You can realy do that with carbs...

    I haven't gotten it back yet. LOL

    I will be post details in about two months or sooner. I'm working a couple things right now! I'm hopping to be right around 78-79 when it's done!?!?!?!?!? You never know!
