That could have really been bad. I know someone around here had a skat explode in his RXP. Not pretty.

BILL, WOODY ,This prop had been re pitched about 4-5 times on diffrent skis with diffrent motor combos. IMO if you pitch a prop over 2 times this could happen. Failers like this are NOT normal . I have seen this happen one other time. The wear ring is still ok just a few heavy scars. No vibration only noticed rpm's keep getting higher every pass while testing and speed was going down. I desided to take a look and this damaged prop is what I found. More parts for the shelf that don't work anymore. I have a whole bunch of shelves of test parts that just don't work! Once and a while I find one that does and I feel like I struck Gold! The new gold finds are getting harded and harder to find. Maby it's time to move to another mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Going to a new mine in 2009 to look for speed it's called FZR. Tommy Jordan

Yikes!!!! Thanks for sharing that Tommy, haven't seen that happen yet.

Look forward to the testing on the FZR and although very different share the same pump so you should have a good headstart!
