    Impeller cone and rideplate

I just bought an '06 gpr1300 a week ago. I ordered one of Jim's riva plates and while I was under the ski today putting it on I noticed that there was no impeller nose cone....Is there suppose to be one? Is this why its only running 63-64mph, its tuning 7150-7200 stock. Has about 4 hours on it now.

I know on my seadoo xp, the rubber nose cone tore apart and I lossed 2mph.

This is a pic of the riva rideplate...looking at it from the rear. You think I should fill in the gap between the plate and shoe? Or is this step up ok?

hello ron, there is no seperate cone on the factory impeller it is part of the impeller. Add the shims i gave you on the front 2 bolts it needs more angle . did you go out and tested it yet. thanks jim

yes you can ronn, just make sure the sides or bottom of the plate does not hang below the pump shoe or it will slow you down.
