    1050 Twin Pipe XPL Build

I've just finished building my motor for the XPL and thought I'd share some pics. Also, I have novi/dean's team intake for sale if anyone is interested.

Very nice! What's the rest of the project look like?

What kind of power/rpms are you looking at?

  4. #4
I'm hoping for [email protected] 7500rpm. Other's with experiance on similiar setup's should confirm this. The rest of the setup is as follows:

    2 Mikuni Pulse pumps
    2 NOS Electric pumps
    Water injection for Stingers
    Microtouch Rev Limiter
    Racepak EGT
    Beach House Sponsons
Rebent Stock Impellor (We'll see how this works)

This motor is strictly race gas as squish is tight.

The motor consists of the following:

Miller 1050 Phase 3 Porting for twin pipes
Miller Wide Rave Valves modified to work like 800 motor
    Miller Cylinder Head w/49cc Domes
Modified Cases for 1050 Cylinder and improved Cooling
    New SBT Counterbalance Shaft
144mm Honda CR crankshaft done by Crankworks
    RXX Case Cooler
    48mm Novi's w/prok's
Miller MZX reed spacer and reeds
Modified stock intake for MZX reeds and spigot mounts
    Factory Twin Pipes (Long Chamber)

Is this going to be a rec ride???? Ought to be fun whatever its intent.

Yep, going to be a rec ride. I thought about doing a couple of regional races as well. Does anyone think it would still be competative with the four strokes?
