    Timing key installed backwards

    Guys anyone installed or had installed timing key backwards? Can't find much on this and just wondering what issues/performance was had with it like this?

    You having some feeling like your key might be in the wrong way? You would be taking timing out of the motor and yes,you would see a loss of overall performance across the entire rpm range.

    PR yes I'm clutching at straws right now Just trying to rule everything out. I think Quad suggested this as a possibility in my other thread. I originally fiqured that if this was the case I would see a dramatic difference. Still have to check timing think at idle stock timing should be 18 deg ? Probably only way to confirm it without tearing the whole motor out which is something I'll be doing in the near future if I cant work this out............... conversion

    I thought those sheep jokes were reserved for us Aussies and the kiwis? What gives Woody you guys have a lot of woolly creatures in Nevada?

    Posted same time. I have noticed that I'm on the buzzer well before the other guys, starting with same amount of fuel

    ............... bud it was all just installed by my mech, after having the exhaust out, TB's etc I'm feeling much more comfortable with my ski and looking back I would have been happy to do everything myself short of the key. I think if I can check timing that will be the only way to rule this out as a problem and I can look elsewhere. Can't find anything anywhere on how to check timing
