Fuel use between FXHO and VX

Anyone know for sure or want to hazzard a guess on the fuel
consumption rate of an FXHO vs. VX110.

My gut feeling is there won't be much a difference or $$$ savings.

Also curious if the VX would handle as good as the FXHO out in
ocean water as it looks a bit smaller in size...?..ok..thanks..

The FXHO will handle chop much much better then the VX due to the larger, deeper hull.
The VX is more economical, but of course not as fast or as powerfull as the HO. Although basically the same motor, the HO has many uprated parts plus individual throttle bodies. Fuel tanks are also different, HO = 70ltr VX = 60ltr.

    The official figures;

Max fuel consumption, HO = 45ltr per hour VX = 28ltr per hour.

    Cruising range @ WOT HO = 1.56 hour VX = 2.14 hour.

    hmmm

You can go further on a HO tank than on a VX tank.
HO has larger cruising range and also faster cruising speeds.
I have gotten 135 GPS miles on HO in favorable waters.

There is no comparison with power, power range, or rough water handling.
You will be suprised how economical the HO is when your holding just before wot.

I also do not believe the spec sheets put out on anything. Very few use same variables across the board.

the HO will get you there faster
and if it was riding with the vx it would be riding alot slower and geting beter fuel milage than the graph
most of my rides give me aprox 120 miles to the tank including a fair bit of full speed

    Fx Ho much better

If you get a fx ho wont be sorry, difference between fuel isnt that much as power stability and look . I would go with the HO
