Wear ring housing
Riva stainless wear ring or Island racing wear ring? Which you all think is better?

I have both and they both have worked fine for me. I have replaced the plastic ring once and it is a piece of cake to do. ran a rock throught the stainless one and it held up fine.

Depends on the purpose,( how the ski will be used) the water conditions ( ex: lot of debris in the water ) ( and type of debris )
ex: if you suck up a lot of sand with the SS ( oem or aftermarket ) it will wreck havoc on both the liner and outer edge of the impeller ( similar metals will wear similar ) with a plastic lined housing the plastic will give way before the ss saving the outer edge. ( a replacement plastic liner is 10x cheaper to replace )
SS is definately more durable.
A cheaper alternative is a new OEM ( but then again i do see a fair share of bubbling of the liner even with the thicker ss lined OEM housing.
Your OEM ( and worn out Riva's ss ) can be reconditioned with a thicker than OEM liner for cheaper than new.
State your parameters and then recomendations can be made.
