    14/20 for gp1300?

i just got off the phone with riva ,i told them i just want more holeshot speed and a LITTLE more performance for around 600-700 ,he says, usual ride plate intake,14/20 prop and pump seal. so is he just telling me anything or is a13/19 solas better for me.could a tunnel reinforcement be a factor? he says a 14/20 is PERFECT for my ski ,im waiting to speak to glenn at R.andD. .what gives guys?

just selling you a lot of random parts.

you won't be able to turn that 14/20 very well with the stock ski. Keep the stock prop

do a jetworks, and get a modded plate, get your head shaved

With the price range your looking at I would personally go with tunnel reinforcement with aftermarket brackets, jetwork kit, 1200 intake grate, modded rideplate, 3 degree keyway, a skat 13/19 prop, and send your oem head to jim to get it milled. That's the setup I would do. Also some free mods are stepped spnsons, cut black plastic under the left crowling, cut holes in your hood and bucket and gut your oem air box.

    What year is your 1300?
    • Shaved head (145-150 PSI) gives it great low end grunt out of the hole, but does requires 91 Oct. this will allow you to pull a 14/20 or better.
    • Jet works mod helps alot with holeshot
    • 1200 Riva or R&D grate is a must
    • stepped sponsons helps it get on plane faster
    • Dump some more water off the head by adding a tee in the rear hose and a pisser.
    • Get some air to the motor like suggested.
    • R&D ride plate
    • D-plate is a must
    • seal pump shoe
You can easily do all this on your budget shop for used parts here or on ebay to bring your costs down.
