I dont think so. The GTX or RXT platforms have the opas that will move up with pump pressure.

    opas on the rxt

Hi, I have just bought a 2007 RXT,

I dont think so. The GTX or RXT platforms have the opas that will move up with pump pressure
How does this work, in practice?

Also, does this mean that there is less advantage in installing the opas block-off kit?

    Cheers guys, Al

There is a hose connection at the top of the pump that supplies water pressure to the OPAS pistons. When the engine rpms are 4000 or so, the water pressure causes the OPAS fins to raise. When you let off the throttle, the OPAS fins fall back into the water. Letting off the throttle in the chop sometimes causes the ski to pull to one side or the other... Ron

    Thanks Ron,

Does this mean that I wouldn't stand to gain much by removing the opas?

On a stock ski no. Just make some pvc block ups. On a modded ski yes, there are gains to be had with removing them.
