Triple Pisser mod for my 900ZXI

I have the motor out right now but plan to go back in with it this next week. Mounted a new bilge pump in the hull and now I am thinking about doing the triple pisser mod. Besides the advantage that I am getting cooling to all three cylinders are there any disadvantages to doing this mod??? Should I do this????

You can't really do a tripple pisser on a zxi unless you have an aftermarket head or modify the OEM. Unlike the Ultra, the 900 zxi only has one coolant outlet on the head.

The bildge pump is a great idea!! I put one on mine because the seat seal doesn't seal well. It helps get excess water out of the hull after a roll over.

To use the stock head you have to tap three smaller lines in the rail tube on top. People who are a little better with a torch will block them off from one another.

to be honest that does not sound too hard. Is there really any advantage or is it a waste of my time??

You can adjust water flow to each jug and even out temps. Other then that it lets you know that you are getting even flow at a glance. If you had a leaf plug your rail you might never know and your piston would be toast.

just the leaf issue alone and being able to adjust flow sounds like a very big advantage..

You ought to see what they look like with dual cooling and unrestricted fittings.
