    Heat shield

Do you guys usually reinstall the heat shield over the exhaust after installing a D-Plate, or is it ok to leave it out?

i don't like the heat shield, i say go for painting the entire pipe in a black or chrome metallic color. Some are doing it to match the colors in their ski's now with a solid color with splatter paint on top.
