Where do I find a starter solenoid. Mine has a packard style connector for the activation and the typical studs for the batt cables.
it is a 2000 virage 700 .. I believe the factory part number is 4010401.
numbers stamped on the bottom of it are 5682 12V 0327F
any one have a lead on where to get one??????

The usual online sources, like Babbitts, Partsland, Bike Bandit, etc.
Don't forget John Zigler has many used Polaris parts, plus some new stuff (but I am not sure he has new solenoids ).
I think the Brown bodied Polaris OEM solenoids are a newer/better design than the original Black Polaris solenoids.
