Very terrible ! Reads like another Hollywood disaster movie.
I hope everyone is safe!
I still haven't heard anything about it on cable news yet.

Global Warming Gang..........just adding to the intensity of these storms.....buddy of mine that follows this global warming trend believes that in 3 or less huricane seasons here in the states we will see a storm that makes US landfall......and make Katrina look like Mickey Mouse......without the help of a failing levy system.

I'm safe, so are the people on the Gold Coast etc. we are all south of where this occured. AFAIK no members here are in the areas where the cyclone hit.
The main cities, Cairns/Townsville got off failry lightly lightly, other small places such as Innisfail were at the centre.
The most important thing is that nobody was seriously injured or killed!!!!!
Quite a miracle.

Kdog, glad to hear you guys are doing fine.
Just heard on the weather news last night that the waters off the east coast are going to be warmer than usual. If a hurrican makes it close enough its just going to feed it and make it stronger...not good news.
