I posted this sometime back in the FZ series review thread.
I can honestly say i wouldnt believe this too much.
Im sure the FZR is a great ski.. And i know the RXT-X is..
But either the person on the RXT-X is a newbie or hasnt ridden a ski before n the FZR person is experience or it does rlly kick ass..
A lot of things now a days especially things like this are usually biased or something is dun for the other to look bad, or the other to look amazing..

But i'd wait for something like Jerry's shootout like last year for some real, true unbiased results.
    Just my $0.2

I think this is complete BS to be honest. If the FZR is faster so be it, but I hope you guys realize how much of a gap the FZR had. He was at least 3 mph faster and we know the RXT-X is at or extremely close to 70 stock. An FZR doing 73, idk about that.

I cant tell in the first two runs, but i will say that my T-X holeshot is better then that 3rd race.
    I ran 74.6 mph today on T-X.

    yeah but your not stock

That slight chop could be the determining factor with the Yam being able to not miss a beat and stay hooked with that better hull, grate, and plate.

If they were both stock, on pure glass, and both had virgin water, then both should be neck to neck or pretty close to it.

It looks like the yam is steady hooked and the TX swallowing white water.

In the 2nd race it looks like the T-X is porposing some. One thing for sure the stock T-X grate is a brake once you hit 70.
I dont know the FZR ski much, but it would not surprise me if it was faster top end Stock For Stock.

Top End should be close but on paper that fz hull and grate should be quicker and able to stay hooked more so than others.

Have you seen an FZR grate and seen an X ski grate?
