    Adjusting the steering nozzle?

Hey guys how do you adjust the steering nozzle? Is the only way by adjusting the fitting that attaches to the nozzle itself? Or is there a way to adjust it under the steering/hood area?

The reason I am having to adjust the nozzle is because with the pump ext in place the steering cable extension is a good 1/2 inch to long even when screwed in all the way that it can go.

You can also adjust it up front. You have to unbolt the cable from the steering assy to do it.

Yes, and you can also loosen the clamp that holds the cable up front and turn the big nut shaped part to move the cable from front to back.

HAHA, i just sent you pm back on this question you asked.
Do what Jim says but do not loosen the 2 X 10 mm bolts all the way out. They can be a pita to get back in.
I had to take in as much line as possible to get the setup on steering lined up right with setback.
If you have UMI be sure cable is connected in closest bolt hole on steering arm.

BigDaddy, check out the attachment that Snowman linked.
You can take out that cable in the adjustment knuckle and will work.
