R&D girdle and new ride plate question

I just got a new Jims ride plate. It has the 3 solid mountings holes for the intake grate built into the end of it. So the intake grate does not bolt into the pump shoe at all. I don't think I can run the R&D girdle w/ this plate. It will not slide around the plate because of the extra material for the mounting holes. Anybody else had this problem?

You do need speedfreeks pump shoe support from jerrys store.

So you are putting 08 ride plates on pre-08 skis? Do they fit right up other than the new 3 hole tab?

Ya, but you upgraded your plate to grate design to the best out there.
You dont have to worry about the grate ripping out with the 08 plate.

Vern, that is the plate that Erik (speed freeks) recommended to me but i already bought a 07 plate for mod.
I think you just have to mod the 07 older grate extra bolt hole to fit 08 plate.
