the iPod touch has Wi-Fi. so you'll be able to jump on your network.

I love my iPod touch. I recently got the new nano so that I won't lose it at school since I listen to my music all the time. If your gf watches a lot if video, get the 16gb version. That's another reason I got the touch, my 3rd generation 8gb nano before the touch just didn't cut it for storage. The touch is great because of it's wifi, storage, interface and big screen, and all of the 3rd party apps in iTunes. I'm even posting this from my touch

    thanks for the replys guys.

Shes not huge on video mostly music, she has the original 30gig Zune and has barely put a dent in that with her music.

And i deff will be using the touch to get on this site when she isnt using it at the gym or playing games on it. I was debating on the 8gig for the price but it deff makes more sense to get the 16gig with twice the storage for only alittle more money.

Dont forget that you can still jailbreak and unlock a touch, so you can use the cydia and installer apps.. All the great stuff for the iphone is also available for the touch..

Its pretty nice, but make sure to get the one with the bigger storage (I think its 32gb now). I filled my 16gb with just music.
The two things that I hate about it is that there is no speaker and that you need wi-Fi for internet, but I guess that then it would just be an iPhone

The second gen iPod touch has an external speaker. And even if she's never used her Zune for video, get the 32GB version of the iPod if you can swing it.
