not copies, they are just out of service rental machines they are refurbishing and selling as new machines.... similar to the knock off 50cc pit bikes you see running around.... it's all about the private label branding these days

Typical Chinese dupes in typical chinese fashion.

    Those guys are good.

I see them at tradeshows in other industries with cameras and they go around taking pictures while they hold up reference points. They develop same spec different quality stuff. Then they have shelf warehouses where business heads go and shop. They pick out what pieces they want from shelves here and there and then they private label.

To get a better example go to sportsauthority and looks at their exercise bikes. Look at the seats, frame, lines, etc. Then go sears or dicks and you will see how many common parts are shared amongst competing lines. Its not just private label, its mostly just companies shopping from shelf warehouses.

    NO..

patents in the rest of the world work totally different to the USA. And if they changed a few keypoints its 100% legit.

I kind of get the impression, that they have bought/licensed the designs as they are rated for USA

    holding company of jetmotor:

this same company boasts a 1400cc suzuki powered jet ski that still has the flywheel and clutch assemly on it, and it has a car alternator, no stainless componentry and the 155hp they state is actually 79hp from a suzuki jimny.

    caveat emptor

A quote from their Company description page: " Zhejiang Shengqi Motion Apparatus Co. Ltd consists of dedicated R&D and technical support teams with over 5 years experience in the motor vehicle industry".

5 Years R&D and tech experience, that is comforting.

    I'd feel safe doing a 4-tec conversion...

I wouldn't want to be the one riding it when the hull splits in two...
