Is my speed low ?
Guys please post your comments on wether you think my speed is ok for my mods. If you think its low then what I might need to look for. I will say I have nothing hanging down from the front of the intake grate backwards which is up about a nickel and everything is sealed. I keep meaning to measure my rideplate since I last messed with it but my speed has not really changed , it just now feels loose (3 washers at the front and 0 at the rear of the rideplate) but now I get lot of bouncing when I am trying to accelerate until it settles at approx 45mph . Extended trim tabs all have one washer under all 8 bolts. Sponsons on middle hole.
How can I get more speed our of my set up without spending $$$$$$$
GPS 66.9mph @ 7140rpm. Ambient Temps 76 deg f. water temp 68 deg f (guess) and I weigh 230lbs

Ok Jim but do you think my speed is low for my mods. I like the S3 as it gives a little more out of the hole, sounds awesome and its easy to take in and out and lighter. How much speed is it costing me.
My ski is really ocean boat but when I mess around on the lake with the guys I want more speed. Or maybe I just cant have both ?

If that is semi rough water numbers it's good. If that is calm water it's a little low.

Those figures where yesterday on the lake. It wasnt calm/flat maybe 6-8" ripple waves.
Would i be better with 13/19 or maybe v-force instead of stock 1300 reeds with stuffers. Tried running without the seat and manually opening the PV's but didn't affect rpms
How much mph do you think the S3 is costing me ?

the ski came with the S3 on. Do you think my holeshot would change that much with the stock stinger? What do you believe I am getting from the S3 ? ( I have not touched the valve on the S3 coupling) I think its all the way out and not shut down at all.

You mean a Jetworks valve instead of the standard manual thumb screw one.
Or do you mean use a stock stinger with jetworks holeshot mod ?

IMO a Turbo Tube or Stinger 3 is good for surf riding.I had a TT back in 01'-02' and i really liked it.Its just not a top end mod,but if your looking for bottom/mid only, then run with it.The D plate is the most common mod to do.As far as your speed loss, the extended tabs are scrubbing speed.Have them cut to OEM tab length.A modded ride plate will increase your speeds also.Finding the 'right setup' for your handling components is the key.Another thing is your pump shoe alignment and step from the hull. This is a critical piece of the puzzle.
