    R&D SHO/FZR Multi-Pressure Port Boost Gauge/Surge/RRFPR Adaptor

    I got the R&D SHO/FZR Multi-Pressure Port Boost Gauge/Surge/RRFPR Adaptor today and there weren't any instructions in the box. Anyone know how to install this thing?? I really dont even know where it goes...

    I got mine today...no instructions either. R&D must think we're all pro tuners who don't need them. I'm hoping it will be obvious how to install it once I have the manifold & TB's off.

    I tried using a tee on my set up but what I realized was that was no space for the tee to fit! The vacuum line that connects the map sensor to the manifold is too short. About 2.5inches...give or take. I goin to try and post some pics on how it looks.
    Another way you could use a tee without the R&D adapter is to turn the map sensor upside down then move it to the right and secure it by just using 1 bolt instead of two.. It won't look as neat as the adapter kit but it will work

    Unbolt the two 10mm head bolts that support the map sensor to the intake manifold. Unplug the map sensor. Remove the two 5/16 bolts that connect the sensor to the mounting bracket. Place the adapter in-between the bracket and the map sensor. Make sure that the barbed end of the adapter faces down. It should fit through the hole in bracket. Place the supplied o-ring over the vacuum port of the map sensor ( be sure to remove the factory vacuum hose when installing o-ring). Place map sensor facing down through the hole at the top of the adapter. Use supplied bolts that came with the kit. They will take the place of the 5/16 bolts. After that, your al set.
