    EFI control question

Where would be a good base to start for an EFI control on a ported 2003 GP1300R? I am at 4500 feet elevation.

what is your compression on your heads? And Did you mill the stocker or did you get an aftermarket head?

    EFI response.

We used the stock head and hopefully the compression is going to be around 150 psi. I should have it all put back together by the end of the week.

Along with the EFI you should also get an aftermarket Tachometer (PET 2100 seems to be a good one). It's one of the only ways to know how your engine is reacting to the changes you're making to the EFI. Oh sure, there's always the seat of the pants method of gauging change (I used to use this method, then I pulled my head out) but it won't tell you if you just dropped 100 rpm at WOT and are about to have a lean seizure. Woody pounded it into my head, now I'm spreading the good word. Embrace thy Tach readings and they shall keep you on the path of righteousness, or something like that. Feel free to quote me on that.
